Sarah Kingsley is a Physical Therapist, Bowen Therapist, and LYT Method Yoga Instructor. She strives to help her clients find their inner core strength, alleviate pain, and gain confidence in their bodies. Working with patients of all ages with extensive experience with the geriatric population, Sarah treats a multitude of conditions including acute and chronic pain, vertigo and vestibular disorders, osteoporosis, and all deficits of functional mobility. Sarah works with each client on an individual basis to help them feel their physical best, treating the whole person with the aim of improving movement patterns to promote the best quality of life for all age groups.

Sarah received her Bachelor in Rehabilitation Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, MA where she met her husband. They moved down to North Carolina in 2016 to start their lives together where she began working in multiple continuous-care retirement communities and senior living facilities helping geriatrics of all ages. Treating patients of all functional abilities and diagnoses, Sarah diligently applies herself to helping her patients regain their strength, balance, and confidence while improving their pain levels and quality of life. Building off of years of experience she is always striving to learn new methods, specialties, and techniques to better serve her patients and address a variety of health conditions with goals of promoting maximum wellness, sustainability, and longevity. Her thirst for a more functional and preventative approach to medicine and a strong focus on health and wellness led her to the Ivy Integrative.

An avid practitioner certified Level 1 and 2 Instructor for the LYT Yoga Method, Sarah incorporates key yoga principles targeting posture, core connection, stability, myofascial opening, and breathing techniques into her treatment sessions to promote neuromotor remapping. By incorporating a holistic approach into diagnosis and treatment, Sarah strives to provide the maximum benefit to her patient’s mind, body, mood, and mobility. Sarah has also received her nutrition coaching certification from the Food Matters Institute in order to guide her clients toward healthier food habits and nutritional supplements to further improve results in cognitive and physical levels of functioning.

When she’s not treating or teaching, Sarah enjoys hiking with her husband and dog, gardening, plant-based cooking, waterskiing, stand-up paddleboarding, beach trips and watching sunsets.
