MIA BIANCHI

Mia began yoga to deal with chronic pain when conventional medicine no longer worked; along with her Reiki practice, she found relief and wanted to share the self-healing possibilities of yoga. Joining YogaStream transformed her practice which led her to complete the 200-hour training. Each class of Mia’s blends the spiritual with a technical eye to elevate all class participants’ practice of yoga. As a critical care nurse, Mia hopes to bring the idea of healing–mentally and physically–to her yoga classes so that practitioners can feel better on and off the mat. When not teaching yoga or nursing, Mia is pursuing a Master’s degree in nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner.
