To me, Yoga + movement are tools that I use to come back to the right here, right now. My first Yoga class in 2009 opened my eyes to all that was possible through this practice. After being a student for about a decade, I traveled to India to dive deeper into this ancient practice. I completed my first 200-hour yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh and decided to move to New York, NY to become a school teacher, using mindfulness + movement to help the little ones I so adored. When it became a reality that I could actually make a living while being a Yoga teacher full-time, I jumped at the opportunity. After 6 years of teaching full-time, I have honed my voice – clear, encouraging, thought-provoking; I have honed my style – anatomically-focused, creative, individualistic; and I have honed my why – so you can feel truly connected to your body + all of its wondrous abilities. For the past year plus, I have been traveling around the US, stopping in cities for a month at a time with my partner and our 2 pups, all while teaching my 1:1 clients + group classes virtually.

Some fun facts…I have a love for anything made with cilantro, chili + lime, and have been brewing my own kombucha for 8 years. I lived in Australia for a year, and have explored over 25 countries on this beautiful planet. My adjacent passion (right up there with Yoga) is mental health and trauma healing, and I’ll be going to grad school in Spring 2023 to become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I lead a small group healing program called Grow Upward, centered around inner child + attachment healing, that has helped change dozens of women’s lives since May 2020.
