Larisa Scott has been teaching a variety of movement, group fitness and personal training since 1996. Her yoga journey began to emerge in 2012 and she completed her first 200 hour teacher training in 2014. Through injury, exploration, and self study she began searching for a better balance in her own movement practices. Enter The LYT Yoga Method. She loves all things movement and LYT combines her favorites: Yoga, strength, anatomy, functionality, science, self-study, and fun!. Larisa considers herself a student, always. She enjoys learning and is excited to continuing sharing so we can move well together throughout our lives.
When she's not teaching Larisa is a part time Speech-Language Pathologist with a primary focus in adult dysphagia (swallowing difficulty) and full time mom of 3 children and 1 dog. She enjoys the mountains and lakes in her area of North Carolina, traveling, and spending time with family and friends!
