PHUONG NGUYEN

Xin chào! Hello everyone. My name is Phuong, from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

I used to be a school teacher with drawing boards and textbooks, but for the love of yoga, I then decided to follow the path that resonated the most with my soul. I took my first YTT in 2018. Although my classroom has changed, I am still a teacher at heart. Becoming a yoga instructor has been the best decision I have ever made in my life. I am based in HCM City but I travel quite often and teach in different locations at any given opportunity. I am also a rock climber, I have been teaching lots of yoga for climbers at climbing camps in Laos, Thailand, and China.

I discovered LYT Yoga and Lara in 2019 and I knew right away that I have to take a YTT with Lara when the time allows me to, and here I am – bursting with joy to become a LYT teacher and I am teaching LYT full-time from now on. Getting to learn this amazing knowledge of LYT has boosted my confidence tremendously in both my teaching and practicing, it has also opened up a lot of new opportunities for me already. I believe once we know better, we will do better and feel better both physically and mentally.
