Alexandra Rose – 200RYT – “Yoga has been a part of my life in some way since 2001 when I decided to take yoga as my PE elective in college, which was purely to avoid running instead.” This seemingly insignificant decision led to a life of body awareness, meditation exploration, and deep self-discovery that Alexandra Rose could not have known at the time would become such a driving force in her life.
Building on 15 years of self-study with wellness at its core, Alexandra got her Certification in Transformational Nutrition Coaching in 2017. Shortly thereafter she decided it was time to jump head-first into Yoga since it had always had a strong presence in her life. In 2018 she received her 200RYT and has been teaching ever since. Currently, in her 300-hour training with Asheville Yoga Center, she will soon be a 500RYT.
With an interest in functional movement and helping beginners find a practice that will help them move better and feel safe and comfortable in their own bodies, she recently completed an additional 200 training for the LYT Yoga Method and is now a certified instructor. With anatomy as its central theme, the LYT method has provided tools for Alexandra to create a practice that is sustainable and safe for all practitioners.
In addition to yoga, Alexandra enjoys many activities such as reading, hiking, crafting, cooking, traveling, and many forms of continuing education.
“I am always available to discuss private yoga sessions either in person or virtually. Let me help you find the peace at the center of your being through functional movement and deep internal exploration.”
