Pain is something we all struggle to deal with, especially if it’s chronic or acute pain. Learning to understand the science behind it can help us to cope with it in our lives more meaningfully. Today, we dive into that in hopes of giving you perspective, and maybe even some relief.

Often, especially as we age, pain is a complicated foe. It is both all in your head, and also very real. Research into the science of pain is ongoing, and gets more and more robust every year. It’s important to keep up on the latest research out there as things evolve. 

Anything you find to be effective in managing your pain is worth trying. If it works, it works. For anyone suffering, we hope this breakdown helps divert your attention away from chronic pain so you can get back to focusing on your life and relationships.
