201 | Training to be a Gold Medalist Alpine Skier | with Michelle Gisin

Michelle Gisin, a Swiss world cup alpine ski racer competing in all disciplines and gold medalist in the 2018 Winter Olympics. Alpine skiing is a very fast, physical sport, and it can be very risky. Michelle found herself drawn to yoga as well as a way to help with her recovery and preparedness. We talk about how something goes from being a hobby and family activity into a passion and then a full-time profession. She also answers questions about the sport, including:
  • What part of training is hardest on your body?
  • How did you start looking into other factors to optimize your alpine skiing?
  • What advice would you give to someone like yourself?
